Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Development Lead to design overall system architecture, define components, and select appropriate frameworks and technologies
Provide technical leadership, guide development teams, mentor junior developers, and oversee project execution
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business objectives
Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure scalability and system resilience
Develop and maintain architectural documentation, technical specifications, and design artifacts
Qualification
Required
Designing and architecting Java-based applications in an AWS environment
Managing large, mission-critical software implementations for public sector organizations
Strong communication skills with experience in status reporting, feature tracking, upgrades, and backlog management
Experience using AI tools to support application development and testing
Application modernization experience on AWS or Azure platforms
Expert in all versions of the Perl Programming Language
Experience with Java, React full stack development
Experience with MySQL, MariaDB
Designing and architecting Java applications for an AWS environment
Managing a large, mission-critical software implementation for a public owner
Communicating, analyzing, and reporting on status, features, upgrades, backlog
Construction Management subject matter expertise
