Senior Databricks Architect

They are seeking a Senior Databricks Architect to architect end-to-end Databricks Lakehouse platforms, design and optimize Databricks Genie, and implement Databricks Lakebase for low-latency transactional workloads.
Responsibilities
Architect end-to-end Databricks Lakehouse platforms for batch, streaming, and GenAI workloads
Design and optimize Databricks Genie (semantic models, metadata, lineage, NL-to-SQL analytics)
Implement Databricks Lakebase (PostgreSQL) for low-latency transactional workloads
Host, manage, and scale LLMs using Databricks Model Serving, Mosaic AI, and MLflow
Build and optimize pipelines using Apache Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and DLT
Design RAG and GenAI workflows using vector search and structured/unstructured data
Integrate workloads with Unity Catalog for governance, security, and data masking
Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and autoscaling strategies
Establish CI/CD, monitoring, and automation for Databricks jobs and GenAI services
Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience as a Databricks Engineer / Architect
Proven expertise with Databricks Genie (conversational analytics, semantic layers)
Hands-on experience implementing Databricks Lakebase (PostgreSQL)
Experience hosting and serving LLMs using Databricks Model Serving, Mosaic AI, MLflow
Advanced skills in Apache Spark, PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake
Solid understanding of Lakehouse architecture, Unity Catalog, and governance
Experience with GenAI, RAG architectures, and vector search
Strong Python programming skills
Excellent communication and architectural leadership abilities
