Small Business Financial Solutions Advisor

They are seeking a Small Business Financial Solutions Advisor to support clients in exploring financing options while managing key vendor relationships and ensuring seamless communication across teams.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers exploring financing options, including prospecting and engaging new business clients
Guide clients through available financing programs by explaining terms, requirements, and application processes in a clear and consultative manner
Collect, organize, and review financial documentation to prepare complete client files for lender evaluation and support the full loan application and closing process
Maintain consistent communication with clients by providing timely updates, following up on outstanding items, and resolving inquiries with professionalism
Analyze client needs to recommend appropriate lending solutions and present business financing options using a consultative sales approach
Achieve or exceed sales and referral targets while managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing
Maintain consistent communication with vendors and manufacturers to coordinate financing programs, approvals, and partnership needs
Ensure all vendor documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with financing requirements
Lead vendor onboarding and strengthen ongoing relationships to expand financing participation and program adoption
Drive new vendor acquisition through targeted prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach
Partner with internal teams to monitor client progress, documentation status, and lender feedback, ensuring smooth handoffs and clear visibility across departments
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM and shared platforms, including activity tracking and performance reporting
Contribute to weekly team meetings by providing updates on pipeline status, client needs, and operational priorities
Uphold all regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements to ensure full compliance throughout the financing process
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of recent experience as a Small Business Banker or similar role
Proven experience or track record in sales, customer service, or financial services
Understanding of basic financial concepts (e.g., credit, lending terms, documentation)
Ability to manage multiple client relationships and follow up consistently
Proficiency in CRM systems, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools
Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing small business relationships
Ability to complete independent pre-screens and cash flow analysis
Empathetic and persuasive communicator
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative, proactive, and goal-oriented, with a coachable mindset
Organized and deadline-driven
Collaborative and responsive across the internal and external teams
Comfortable with cold outreach
Strong time management and self-motivation
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred
An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered instead of a degree
Bilingual (English/Spanish). English is a must
