Responsibilities
Maintain HIV/STI data systems and monitor trends and clusters
Review medical records and collaborate with providers to ensure accurate surveillance information
Support HIV surveillance databases and integrate ELR and case report data
Develop analyses related to partner services, Data-to-Care, HIV testing, PrEP, and care continuum outcomes
Implement data quality assurance processes
Prepare reports, dashboards, tables, and visualizations
Respond to data requests and communicate directly with requesters
Develop analyses and narrative for funder reports and presentations
Provide technical assistance to BPHC HIV/STI staff and partners
Attend internal and external meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's or doctoral degree in public health or related field required
Strong communication skills with ability to present epidemiologic data clearly
Deep understanding of epidemiology, evaluation, biostatistics, and data visualization
Ability to clean, validate, and analyze surveillance data
Proficiency in SAS required
Preferred
R preferred
Experience with REDCap, Epi Info, Access, SharePoint, or similar databases preferred
Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or mapping tools desirable
Prior experience with HIV/STI surveillance or programs preferred
