Cybersecurity and Compliance Analyst
Ecopetrol USA Inc. is a subsidiary of Ecopetrol S.A., the national oil company of Colombia, who consolidates three productive subsidiaries. As a Cybersecurity and Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for threat detection, prevention, and incident response, as well as developing and maintaining the company's cyber controls and compliance system.

Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze SOC alerts and security events; investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents
Manage system vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with technical teams
Maintain and execute SOX and cybersecurity controls, support audits, and document evidence
Administer and support security tools including SIEM (Splunk), IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners
Maintain and test the Disaster Recovery Plan for Ecopetrol USA and affiliates
Collaborate closely with Ecopetrol S.A.’s cybersecurity team (in Spanish) and participate in monthly cybersecurity committee meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT-related position with cybersecurity responsibilities
Bilingual (English Spanish)
Proficient in Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Power Point, Word)
You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring any type of visa sponsorship
Preferred
A degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or cybersecurity is strongly preferred
