They are seeking a head of Finance to formulate financial strategies, manage investment plans, and oversee financial reporting to support the company's growth.

Responsibilities
Formulating and implementing financial strategies that support the company's growth and long-term goals
Coordinating and managing investment plans, and participating in securing funding for the company (initial capital round and then determining metrics to reach later rounds), such as through venture capital or family wealth offices
Lead the development and management of the company's budgets, forecasting organization planning and financial needs, and tracking financial performance against these plans. Help identify future revenue streams
Overseeing the creation of accurate and timely financial statements
Identifying and assessing financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them, and ensuring the company's financial stability
Ensuring the company adheres to tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements
Building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions, investors, auditors, and regulators
Identifying inefficiencies in financial systems and implementing technology and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Experience working with venture backed startups
Ability to formulate and implement financial strategies that support growth and long-term goals
Experience in coordinating and managing investment plans
Participation in securing funding for the company
Lead the development and management of budgets
Experience in forecasting organization planning and financial needs
Ability to track financial performance against plans
Overseeing the creation of accurate and timely financial statements
Identifying and assessing financial risks
Implementing strategies to mitigate financial risks
Ensuring adherence to tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements
