Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support high-availability, high-performance database replication and migration solutions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on Oracle Database administration experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including Classic Architecture and Microservices Architecture
Strong expertise in conflict detection and resolution strategies for complex replication environments
In-depth experience with DDL replication, heartbeat table monitoring, and loop detection in active-active replication setups
Proven ability to tune GoldenGate Extract, Pump, and Replicate processes for high-throughput, low-latency workloads
Solid understanding of cloud-native AWS RDS features, including Multi-AZ failover, backup and recovery, monitoring, and parameter groups
Demonstrated success delivering zero-downtime database migrations to AWS RDS using Oracle GoldenGate, Data Guard, or AWS DMS
Advanced SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization skills
Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Flashback technologies
Experience working within DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines for database and schema deployments

Local candidates preferred
Experience with hybrid architectures integrating Oracle databases with Kafka, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL platforms is highly desired
Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c or 23c, including features such as JSON, In-Memory, and AutoML is preferred
