Responsibilities
Manage and optimize assigned manufacturing processes across all shifts, ensuring conformance and standardization
Review, update, and maintain process sheets using AMPS and support process documentation
Analyze quality and process data (including CP-CPK) and drive root-cause corrective actions
Lead process and tooling changes in collaboration with Product Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Program Management
Support new model / new equipment launch activities, including PFMEA, tooling reviews, and layout development
Champion continuous improvement through WCM/kaizen initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Throughput
Supervise, coach, and mentor hourly employees or junior engineers while fostering a positive team environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline
Ability to work any shift and required overtime in a unionized, high‑volume plant environment
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills; ability to work across all levels of plant leadership
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Preferred
Prior experience supervising in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing
Knowledge of BIW or Assembly processes, tooling, PFMEA, and new model launch methods
Experience with Teamcenter Manufacturing, AMPS, and dimensional control systems
