Network Engineer – Healthcare Focus
Silex Data Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support enterprise healthcare environments. This role works closely with the Post-Sales Engineering Team, serves as a trusted technical advisor, and helps deliver secure, reliable network solutions.

Responsibilities
Manage isolated network architecture with strict segmentation and air-gapped configurations
Enforce least-privilege access controls, limiting traffic to minimum required ports and protocols
Configure firewalls, VLANs, and ACLs to enforce boundaries between production and isolated environments
Collaborate with the Silex Post-Sales Engineering Team on assigned customer accounts
Provide technical guidance and recommendations during complex networking projects and escalations
Support customer operations and identify opportunities for network improvements or expanded services
Build strong relationships with internal teams and customer stakeholders
Experience following change management processes and maintaining technical documentation
Qualification
Required

Experience following change management processes and maintaining technical documentation
Cisco ACI – configuration, troubleshooting, and support
Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XR, including OSPF and BGP
Check Point Maestro (preferred) – or equivalent enterprise firewall platform
Experience working in enterprise network environments
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable in customer-facing engagements
Preferred
Exposure to automation or scripting tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell)
Familiarity with network monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace)
Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
Participation in on-call or incident response rotations
