Responsibilities
Design and execute experiments of varying complexity using multi-color flow cytometry
Analyze flow cytometry data using FCS Express and FlowJo ; report test results and complete all required documentation and database entries per protocols and SOPs
Perform transfection and expression of antibodies in cell lines, hybridoma tissue culture, and culture of various cell lines for testing
Execute experiments using automated liquid handling systems and other laboratory automation equipment
Perform day-to-day problem solving and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure operational timelines are met
Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives
Train junior scientists on laboratory techniques and internal business processes
Independently analyze research data, troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision, and plan follow-up experiments
Effectively prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities
Support laboratory scheduling, operational activities, and routine maintenance duties
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience designing, performing, and analyzing flow cytometry experiments
Proficiency in tissue culture techniques, including cell transfection for protein expression
Experience with BD FACSDiva, FlowJo, FCS Express, and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and complete records
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline
2–4 years of laboratory experience required
Flow cytometry and tissue culture experience required
Preferred
Animal immunization experience
Antibody development experience
Familiarity with assay automation
Background in immunology
