Responsibilities

Be the primary conceptual engine for the agency. We need big, bold ideas that work across channels and make news
Think earned-first: create concepts that journalists want to cover, creators want to riff on, and people want to share
Concept for any channel—a viral social stunt, a paid spot, an influencer activation, an experiential moment—whatever the idea demands
Push work beyond "good enough." Keep asking: Is this interesting? Would I share this? Does this deserve attention?
Be a department head. Mentor, develop, and hold accountable a team of art directors, designers, copywriters, strategists, and content creators
No drama. Model the collaborative, ego-light culture we're building. Solve problems, don't create them
Manage workflow, scope hours, and utilization. Creative excellence and business sustainability go together
Help us hire and build the creative team as we grow
Own creative output across the agency. Everything that goes out the door reflects your standards
Uphold brand guidelines, platform best practices, and creative strategy—for clients and for Multiply itself
Provide direction on shoots, storyboards, mock-ups, and creative development
Manage external creative partners—photographers, videographers, freelancers—when projects call for them
Be a key voice in new business pitches. Develop creative concepts and presentations that win work
Drive Multiply's own brand. Help us practice what we preach

Required

12+ years leading creative work at an agency (Ad, PR, social, integrated, or digital—not only exclusively traditional advertising). Your portfolio shows campaign concepts that worked across disciplines: copy, design, video, influencer, social, experiential
You think in ideas, not formats. The concept comes first. Then you figure out where it lives—a TikTok, a billboard, a stunt, a spot, all of the above
You have a culture first instinct. You naturally think: What's the headline? What's the hook? Why would someone cover this?
You're culturally fluent. You know what's happening online, what's getting traction, and what feels tired. You can spot a moment and know when a brand should (or shouldn't) jump in
You've worked with consumer/lifestyle brands—especially beverage, food, or CPG. You understand how these categories move
You can present and sell work. To clients, to internal teams, in new business. You articulate why an idea works, not just what it is
You lead without ego. You mentor generously, give direct feedback, and elevate the people around you. Zero drama
You're comfortable with ambiguity. We're building this as we go. You'll help shape what the creative department becomes
