Entry, Mid LevelSchaeffer Marketing Group is entering its 50th year in the manufacturers rep business, and they are seeking a self-motivated outside sales professional to sell electrical and/or lighting products. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with customers, closing sales, and providing training and seminars.

Responsibilities
Travel the assigned territory on a regular and consistent basis to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Make end user calls independently and with distributors
Demonstrate technical and product knowledge to assist customers in product selection – can train a qualified sales candidate
Close sales and achieve sales goals
Provide training and educational seminars to distributors, engineers, and contractors
Attend and exhibit at local conventions and product shows
Use CRM system to log sales activities and capture opportunities
Act in an ethical and professional manner
Qualification
Required
Sales or lighting experience is required
Preferred
Electrical industry experience is preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred
