Strategic Account Director - Events & Media (SAP Partner Ecosystem)

The Strategic Account Director is responsible for managing a dedicated account territory of global SAP Partner technology companies, focusing on selling integrated ACE products and driving client retention and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Own a global named account territory of 30-40 B2B technology SAP Partner companies
Drive renewals and multi-product expansion building on Membership and Events as the foundation stone for every client relationship
Sell annual membership, event sponsorship, webinars, email campaigns, digital advertising, conten syndication, editorial creation and lead generation programs
Design 6 and 7 figure opportunities in every account by configuring ACE products to each specific clients goals and objectives
Manage an annual revenue quota in excess of $2.0M in 2026 with a target 115% Net Revenue Retention with >90% client retention annually
Build and deepen relationships with all key Executives and Marketing leaders in every client account including: CEO, CMO, Events, Advertising, Lead Generation, Product Marketing, Field Marketing and Market Intelligence
Maintain a healthy pipeline with 45-120 day sales cycles and typical deal sizes range from $25,000 to $250,000 plus

Required

5–10+ years closing experience in B2B media, events, or marketing services selling to marketing decision‑makers at technology or SaaS companies
Proven track record of 1M+ annual quota attainment with multi‑product, solutions‑oriented selling (not transactional or pure ad‑ops selling)
Proven experience in media, events and lead generation sales and renewals
Experience selling integrated campaigns (events, lead gen, webinars, content, digital) where success is measured on marketing pipeline/ROI and not just impressions and clicks
Experience building deep relationships across marketing teams at B2B technology companies
Hands on experience with marketing services including lead generation, content creation, email, webinars, advertising, social media and event sponsorships
Excellent speaking and writing communication skills
