Responsibilities
Support monitoring, analysis, and triage of security alerts, logs, and events from security tools and platforms
Assist in identifying, assessing, and documenting security risks, vulnerabilities, and remediation actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT Infrastructure, Application Development, Compliance, and Operations
Support implementation and maintenance of security controls aligned with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
Assist with vulnerability assessments, patch management tracking, and remediation validation
Monitor endpoint, network, and cloud security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IAM, etc.)
Support incident response activities including investigation, documentation, and root-cause analysis
Perform security configuration reviews and access control validations
Assist with audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities (HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO, NIST, etc.)
Maintain security documentation including procedures, incident reports, risk registers, and control evidence
Support security awareness initiatives and promote best practices across the organization
Assist with ad-hoc security analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Security, or a related role
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including network security, endpoint security, and access controls
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, antivirus, vulnerability scanners, or firewalls
Basic understanding of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, HIPAA, etc.)
Experience reviewing logs, alerts, or vulnerability reports
Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
