Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for off-highway vehicles
Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on design specifications
Develop 3D models for enclosure assemblies, installations, harnesses, and cable routing
Translate rough sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate drawings
Produce flattened production drawings with proper 2D–3D associations
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, and regulations
Collaborate with operations teams to identify and resolve drawing-related issues
Work closely with design engineers to clarify design intent and implement changes
Modify and revise drawings based on design updates and feedback
Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and related manufacturing documentation
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to confirm component locations and electrical fitment (brackets, trays, enclosures, etc.)
Maintain accurate design records and organize drawings systematically
Collaborate effectively with offshore teams and support global design efforts
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in electrical design for off-highway or heavy equipment vehicles
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Electrical
Experience with electrical harness design, cable routing, and enclosure modeling
Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and global team environment
B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
