Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison for providers, ensuring seamless communication and timely support
Triage provider concerns and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
Address external provider inquiries, including claims-related matters, and communicate resolutions clearly
Manage updates to provider demographic and operational information
Deliver training and education on processes such as referrals, claims submission, digital tools, and electronic data exchange
Lead provider onboarding, orientations, and ongoing education initiatives
Oversee network performance within the assigned region, using a consultative account management approach
Evaluate provider performance and develop targeted improvement strategies
Drive performance enhancements in key focus areas such as risk adjustment, quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS), cost efficiency, and utilization management
Conduct regular in-person provider visits to offer real-time support, review performance dashboards, and identify improvement opportunities
Support and promote value-based care initiatives, helping providers align with performance-based care models
Utilize analytics to monitor provider performance and deliver actionable insights
Complete special projects as assigned and maintain compliance with organizational standards
Travel within the regional territory as needed to support provider engagement activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
At least two years of experience in managed care, medical group operations, provider relations, quality improvement, claims, contracting, utilization management, or clinical operations
Project management experience in a medical group, IPA, or health‑plan environment
Strong understanding of quality programs, including HEDIS, cost‑of‑care analytics, and utilization metrics
