Account Executive

The Sage Group is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive new business across mid-market and enterprise customers for their cybersecurity SaaS platform. Responsibilities

Own and manage the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts
Drive net-new business through outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities
Build, maintain, and progress a strong pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quota
Lead discovery to understand customer security needs, technical environments, and business priorities
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and partner with Solutions Engineering on technical evaluations and POCs
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving security, IT, procurement, and executive leadership
Develop account strategies and tailored proposals aligned to customer requirements
Accurately forecast revenue and manage pipeline using CRM tools
Collaborate closely with SDRs, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success
Stay current on cybersecurity trends, buyer personas, and competitive landscape

Required

7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably within cybersecurity or a related technical domain
Proven experience closing mid-market and/or enterprise deals as a quota-carrying Account Executive
Combined experience as an SDR prior to becoming an AE is acceptable
Demonstrated success managing longer, consultative sales cycles
Ability to sell to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
Self-motivated and effective in a fully remote environment
