Responsibilities
Become a trusted financial advisor to a variety of exciting clients
Masterfully manage client portfolios, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare rock-solid monthly financial statements, including bank and credit card reconciliations
Collaborate with clients to gather essential documents (think of yourself as a financial detective!)
Keep ledgers pristine by accurately categorizing transactions
Meet deadlines with ease and exceed client expectations
Handle quarterly and yearly closing entries like a pro
Build lasting relationships with clients and become their go-to financial expert
Dive into ad-hoc projects and showcase your problem-solving skills
Conduct onboarding and follow up meetings with clients via phone
Qualification
Required
3+ years of proven bookkeeping experience
QuickBooks Online wizardry is a MUST!
Xero experience is a major plus
Tech fluency – you're comfortable with Google Suite (including Google Meets) and learning new technology
A dedicated workspace
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills – you're a people person!
Ability to juggle deadlines and stay cool under pressure
Self-motivation and independence – you're a self-starter!
Flexibility to work 40 hours per week (and potentially more during tax season – it's all part of the adventure!)
