Responsibilities

Provide direct support to plant operations and maintenance in the form of troubleshooting, problem solving, and technical recommendations for assigned plant systems and equipment
Participate in capital improvement and maintenance projects as required

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in EngineeringRegistered Professional Engineer (PE)Power electrical experienceMODBUS/SCADA experienceAllen Bradley PLC ExperienceUtility industry experienceProject managementCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering
4 years of related experience
Bachelors in Engineering
6 years related experience
Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience for Engineer III
Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience or 5 years of engineering experience with state registration as a Professional Engineer

Preferred

Passing grade on the Engineering Fundamentals Exam
Increasingly proficient in principles of project management
Experience in the utility industry
Department specific experience applicable to the hiring department
Demonstrated advancing application of engineering theories and principles
Increasingly proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, preparing and presenting recommendations
Good written and oral communication skills
