They are seeking a motivated Environmental Health and Safety Intern to support EHS activities within a manufacturing environment, providing hands-on exposure to regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities
Assist with implementation and maintenance of EHS programs and regulatory compliance activities
Support development and implementation of site-specific EHS policies and procedures
Assist with safety training materials, presentations, and toolbox talks
Support hazardous and non-hazardous waste management activities, including inspections and documentation
Perform EHS inspections and audits of equipment, processes, and facilities
Support EHS aspects of facilities activities, including site inspections, housekeeping standards, and contractor safety support
Assist with Lean and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, visual management) with a focus on safety and environmental performance
Maintain accurate EHS records and assist with compliance reporting
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and facilities teams
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Basic knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
