Responsibilities
Oversee accounting, banking, audit and financial reporting, coordinating closely with external accountants, fund administrators, and auditors
Review financial statements, budgets, and operating expense reporting
Perform ad hoc financial analysis; maintain and enhance Excel-based models and reports
Assist with fund administration
Manage capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and subscription documentation
Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries and communications
Assist with preparation of fundraising and investor materials
Perform ad hoc financial analysis
Assist portfolio companies with special projects
Participate in deal team execution
Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee onboarding/offboarding
Manage relationships with HR service providers and benefits vendors
Lead recruiting efforts
Assist with performance evaluation processes, training, and employee communications
Oversee event planning for investor meetings, offsites, and internal events
Handle general operational problem-solving and special projects as needed
Manage office operations, facilities, and vendor relationships
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance and operations, preferably in asset management
Strong understanding of fund structures, investor reporting, and back-office operations
Excellent Excel skills, including financial analysis and complex spreadsheets
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and with discretion
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong judgment
Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, investors, and external partners
