Responsibilities
Enterprise GIS administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related components
Spatial data management: Maintain utility asset datasets, perform QA/QC, and enforce data governance and metadata standards
System integration support: Assist with integrations between GIS and OMS, CIS, EAM/CMMS, SCADA, and mobile workforce systems
Application and map development: Build and maintain web maps, dashboards, mobile data‑collection tools, and custom GIS applications
Automation and scripting: Use Python, SQL, and FME to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and support system automation
User support and training: Provide Tier 2/3 support, create documentation, and train field and office staff
Project collaboration: Work with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver GIS‑enabled solutions
System monitoring and maintenance: Oversee system performance, updates, patches, and availability of GIS services
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of experience working with the ArcGIS suite of technologies in an enterprise environment
Advanced proficiency with Esri tools including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and enterprise geodatabases
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, SQL, and FME
Experience supporting enterprise systems and working within structured IT environments
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Experience with APIs and web services for system integrations
Preferred
Utilities industry experience (electric, water, wastewater, or gas)
Familiarity with Esri Utility Network or legacy Geometric Network models
Experience with mobile GIS tools such as Field Maps, Survey123, or Workforce
Knowledge of cloud or virtualized environments such as Azure, AWS, or VMware
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience
