Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, backbone)
Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment
Act as the primary escalation point for complex network issues and outages
Design and implement network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
Research and evaluate networking products, services, protocols, and standards
Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability
Coordinate with vendors for circuit provisioning, hardware issues, and escalations
Produce clear technical documentation, diagrams, and incident reports
Support network design and implementation for new construction sites and locations
Conduct site visits and infrastructure assessments; provide architecture recommendations
Guide and mentor team members; contribute to career path development
Support emergency response and after-hours operations as required
Qualification
Required
Active CCIE certification – Written AND Practical (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience designing and implementing large enterprise networks
Expert-level Cisco networking experience, including advanced architecture and operations
Routing Protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP
Advanced Networking: MPLS, L2/L3 VPNs, ISIS
Data Center Networking: VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN)
Enterprise LAN/WAN architecture and backbone design
Vendor management and cross-functional collaboration
High-availability, fault-tolerant network design
Valid driver's license (travel to sites required)
Ability to work on-call during emergencies, severe weather, or service-impacting events
Preferred
Extensive experience with Cisco product line in complex environments
Proven leadership in large-scale network projects
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
