2+ years expEPITEC is seeking an Application Operations Tier 2 Support Specialist to join their high-impact technical support team. In this role, you will be responsible for triaging support tickets, diagnosing issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of mission-critical applications using modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities
Triage & Resolve support tickets as per the defined Service Level agreement
Works on critical application/technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls
Proactively identifying and managing issue/ticket resolutions / documenting and provide follow-up on the resolution process with requestor
Involved in Application Availability and performance monitoring
Develop scripts and automation tools to better detect and correct application issues
Develop monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect application issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelors/Master's Degree required with 2-4 years exp in this capacity
No degree but a technical certification with 6+ years exp in this capacity
At least 2-4 years of experience in Application Support
Expertise with relational databases support, querying and database reporting preferably Snowflake
Experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudFormation, EC2, DynamoDB (NoSQL), Lambda, logging/CloudWatch, IAM, Certificate Manager, ELB, EBS, ECS, CloudFront/WAF, SQS, SNS, SES
Experience troubleshooting issues related to UI / API & Data flow
Expertise with high availability architecture
Experience in Monitoring Tools (Ex: Thousand Eyes, AppDynamics, Grafana etc.)
2+ years of application support experience for cloud-based applications
Experience working with AWS services and SQL for queries in Snowflake
Experience troubleshooting API's
Background in data management, data engineering, or data operations/familiarity with ADO pipeline framework
Experience as SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) for improving the application availability/performance
Working experience with programming languages: Python, PowerShell, SQL & JSON
Working knowledge on deploying autoscaling features (no hands-on support required)
