Private Equity Assistant Controller
Mission Staffing is a boutique Private Equity/Real Estate Fund looking to hire an Assistant Fund Controller. The role focuses on overseeing the finance and operations of delegated funds, conducting fund performance analysis, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the finance and operations of delegated fund
Conduct fund performance analysis
Work across fund accounting, management company accounting, tax, legal, portfolio monitoring/valuations and corporate development
Responsible for cash management and the maintenance of the credit facility for each deal closings
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, expense management, ad hoc financial analysis
Involved in structuring new deals
Help to launch new funds
Respond to due diligence inquiries from investors and prepare investor communications
Ad hoc projects
Qualification
Required
Experience in Private Equity, Credit, or Real Estate investments
Strong analytical skills for conducting fund performance analysis
Knowledge of fund accounting, management company accounting, tax, legal, portfolio monitoring/valuations, and corporate development
Experience in cash management and maintenance of credit facilities
Ability to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
Experience in structuring new deals
Ability to help launch new funds
Experience responding to due diligence inquiries from investors and preparing investor communications
Ability to manage ad hoc projects
