The Automotive Transmission Dyno Test Technician will be responsible for the installation and operation of various test rigs for transmission and axle testing, ensuring all testing requirements are met through effective communication.

Responsibilities
Installation of transmissions, transmission components, axles or exhaust components onto various test rigs
Operation of durability and performance test stands
Monitoring of ongoing tests
Troubleshooting setup and operational issues related to transmission or axle testing
Work with requesters to meet all testing requirements using written and verbal methods of communication
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Knowledge of and/or experience with engine, transmission, axle and exhaust components and their functions
Computer experience (MS suite; word, excel, power point, etc)
Basic hand tool usage
Preferred
Associate in Automotive Technology or related field of study
Engine or transmission related testing
Basic understanding of instrumentation
