Special Accounts Coordinator (Full Time/Days)

They are seeking a Special Accounts Coordinator to support Professional Billing Services by managing payor website access and coordinating special projects to maximize revenue and compliance.

Responsibilities
Coordinates and supports tasks associated with assigned special projects within Professional Billing Services and Projects
Researches and facilitates all requests made for payor website access
Ensures all activities related to payor websites meets department requirements, maximizes revenue collection and achieves leading practice levels of performance
Maintains an advanced knowledge and understanding of all aspects of payer requirements
Updates all name changes transfers terminations for employees with payor website access
Evaluates processes and procedures and makes practical suggestions recommendations for improvement or compliance
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Two 2 years of professional billing or business office experience
A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program
Two 2 years of experience in claims submission processes for all major insurance carriers
Preferred
A high level of inter-personal communication skills
