Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of mobile engineers, promoting best practices in architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment
Own the end-to-end release process for mobile applications, ensuring stable, timely, and high-quality deliverables
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine and prioritize the mobile backlog
Break down complex features into manageable tasks, assign work across the team, and ensure timely execution
Coordinate cross-functional technical solutions with backend, QA, DevOps, and other platform teams
Review code and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality and performance standards
Identify risks, manage escalations, and proactively resolve blockers in the delivery lifecycle
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the mobile space and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
7+ years of overall software development experience, with 4+ years in React Native
Proven experience leading mobile teams and managing the delivery of enterprise-grade applications
Strong understanding of iOS and Android ecosystems, mobile CI/CD pipelines, and app store submission processes
Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, mobile security practices, and performance optimization
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Experience integrating third-party SDKs and analytics tools
Familiarity with native development in Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java is a plus
Background in eCommerce, fintech, or customer-facing mobile applications
