Sourcing Specialist

GE Aerospace operates three cutting-edge manufacturing facilities in the Muskegon area. As the Sourcing Specialist, you will manage the buying process for goods, apply sourcing policy, and interface between suppliers and the entity regarding specifications and budgets.

Responsibilities

Manage relationships with suppliers
Collect commits from suppliers
Place and follow-up on purchase orders (PO's)
Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
Manage problems and schedule changes
Update Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
Resolve issues using established procedures
Consult People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters
Handle simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of supply chain purchasing experience)
