Sales Director (7+ Years of B2B Sales)
Lean IT Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director with 7+ years of B2B sales leadership experience to lead revenue growth and expand their enterprise client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how IT services are sold, including solution-based selling and managing long sales cycles.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across key industry verticals, with a strong emphasis on automotive and adjacent industries
Own and manage the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
Engage senior decision-makers to understand complex business and technology needs, positioning InterraIT’s IT services as tailored, value-driven solutions
Leverage existing industry relationships to accelerate pipeline development, while also building new strategic accounts from the ground up
Collaborate closely with delivery, technical, and marketing teams to align solutions, pricing, and value propositions
Build, manage, and forecast a healthy sales pipeline aligned with company revenue targets
Stay current on IT services trends, competitive offerings, and industry dynamics to inform sales strategy and client conversations
Represent InterraIT at industry events, client meetings, and strategic business discussions
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive B2B sales leadership experience, preferably within IT services, technology consulting, or enterprise solutions
Demonstrated success selling complex, non-transactional services such as application development, managed services, cloud, data, AI, or digital transformation
Proven ability to navigate long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder buying committees, and six-figure or higher deal sizes
Strong executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus)
Preferred
Automotive industry experience strongly preferred (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, dealerships, or automotive technology ecosystems)
Candidates without direct automotive experience must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn industry workflows, buyer personas, and decision-making structures
