Cloud Solutions Sales Manager – Media & Entertainment (AWS)
Onwardpath is seeking a mid-to-senior level Cloud Solutions Sales Manager with proven experience in cloud-based selling and a strong background in the Media & Entertainment industry. This role focuses on driving revenue by helping M&E clients adopt and scale AWS cloud solutions through strategic sales planning and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within the Media & Entertainment vertical
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through solution design, negotiation, and close
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Engineering, Post-Production, and Digital Media leaders
Identify and qualify opportunities for AWS cloud adoption across M&E use cases such as content production, post-production, streaming, media asset management, storage, and analytics
Collaborate closely with solutions architects and internal technical teams to design and propose AWS-based solutions aligned to client business goals
Lead client presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to clearly articulate the business value and ROI of AWS cloud services
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms while maintaining long-term customer value
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape (Azure, GCP), and emerging technologies relevant to Media & Entertainment cloud solutions
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions or services
Proven experience selling to Media & Entertainment industry clients, with a deep understanding of: Content creation and distribution workflows, Post-production and streaming environments, Industry-specific business challenges and growth opportunities
Demonstrated success selling to mid-sized clients in a quota-carrying role
Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and the ability to position AWS solutions against competing platforms
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Preferred
Experience with AWS partner or co-sell motions
Familiarity with subscription, consumption-based, or managed services sales models
