Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks like Angular, React, or similar technologies
Implement front-end solutions that are mobile responsive and compliant with Section 508 Accessibility standards
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design prototypes into interactive and functional web pages
Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to assist in code generation, refactoring, and optimization
Ensure web applications are secure, performant, and scalable by following best practices and industry standards
Integrate front-end components with back-end services via REST APIs and other data communication methods
Performs work associated with the analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets; develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges
Conduct thorough testing of web applications to ensure cross-browser compatibility and device responsiveness
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
Work closely with other developers, business analysts, and testers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality web solutions
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end reporting solutions, leveraging full stack developer skills to integrate front-end visualization tools with back-end data processing and storage systems
Qualification
Required
3 + years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, preferred but not required
If there is no relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required
3+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on responsive design
Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Must have experience with AI tools, particularly GitHub Copilot, for code generation and optimization
Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (AWS)
Strong understanding of web security practices and standards
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines
Preferred
AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer)
Experience with AWS AI tools and platforms, such as Bedrock, Sagemaker, and Transform
Experience in a USPS environment or similar federal IT projects
Certification in web development technologies or frameworks (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate)
Experience with Version One Agile Lifecycle Management Tool
