Responsibilities
Query and build stored procedures in MS SQL databases, especially sifting through rough non-normalized data that often requires multiple bridge table joins
Build and publish automated reports and dashboards in Tableau On Premise
Work with Tableau Prep to ETL various data sources into Tableau Server for Explorer consumption
Maintain and upkeep various data systems and servers
Create and upkeep documentation in Alation data catalog
Work with project stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Be able to rapidly pivot and effectively handle multiple tasks and projects from various business areas, and rapidly changing priorities based on the needs of the organization
Be a self-starter and team player who can work to achieve objectives both in solo and collaborative environments
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience with Tableau on prem (Server, Dashboards, Prep)
Experience with MS SQL and reporting/dashboarding
Ability to query and build stored procedures in MS SQL databases
Experience with non-normalized data and multiple bridge table joins
Ability to build and publish automated reports and dashboards in Tableau On Premise
Experience with Tableau Prep to ETL various data sources into Tableau Server
Ability to maintain and upkeep various data systems and servers
Experience creating and upkeeping documentation in Alation data catalog
Ability to work with project stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to rapidly pivot and effectively handle multiple tasks and projects
Ability to handle rapidly changing priorities based on organizational needs
Self-starter and team player who can work to achieve objectives in solo and collaborative environments
Strong communication skills
Team mentality
Ability to work with the C-suite for project timelines, updates, and future planning
