Responsibilities
Analyse, design, customize and implement software data solutions using Test Data; Management, Grid Tools/TDM, Extract Transform Load, Data Warehouse, UNIX shell scripting, XML, Javelin, Batch programming, Oracle, PL SQL, DB2 and varying other database architectures
Use Test Data Management skills to assist team and project from inception to completion
Interact with business and development stakeholders to define test plans and schedules for application delivery
Work closely with software engineers to build quality in, ensuring proper test and requirement coverage, configuration quality, monitoring, early performance testing for all teams working on the application
Participate in application design reviews, walkthroughs and inspections, and conduct test reviews, including test plans, requirements, cases and automation coverage, and identify any gaps or optimizations that should be addressed
Document performance test strategies, results, and test plans for the entire application, and execute performance validation for application releases
Participate in the Test Engineering Guild, to develop and implement enterprise quality standards, processes, tools and methodologies, and interface with other teams across the organization to leverage their insights and experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Management, Data Science, or related field
five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, System Test Engineer, Software Developer, Test Data Lead, Systems Analyst, or related
qualifying experience must include at least five (5) years with each of the following: Data Management: Operational Data Stores, Semantic Layers, or ETL and Data warehouses
Data Governance: Testing data integrity, source-to-target and production validation testing
Test Data Management: ensuring that test environments accurately reflect the state of production to ensure that test policies and procedures can accurately detect fault
ETL tools: Informatica, or Qlik, etc
Agile, Waterfall testing methodologies
JIRA, RALLY, Rational Team Concert, or Quality Center
Unit and Integration testing with exposure to data virtualization tools
Java JVM, Databases
Business Intelligence tools: PowerBI, Alteryx, or Tableau
