Research Scientist 1
CHEManager International is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist 1 to join the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico. The role involves supporting innovative research on psychedelic assisted therapies for mental health, including data collection, participant screening, and psychological assessments.

Responsibilities
On-site data collection, including from electronic medical records
Perform blood draws for research participants
Administer subcutaneous IP injections during dosing sessions
Screening and recruitment of research participants
Psychological assessment of research participants
Occasional overnight stays to be available to support participants during required overnight stay
Data entry and management
Coordinating with the IRB
Conducting literature reviews
Contributing to manuscripts for scholarly publications
Completing other project tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree; no previous experience required
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis
Preferred
Phlebotomy Certification/ Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy (blood draws)
Experience performing subcutaneous injections
Ability to perform EKGs and process biological specimens
Strong interpersonal skill including ability to comfortably work with people during preparation and integration from psychedelic therapy
People who are successful in this position can work independently, are self-motivated, very detail oriented, responsible, and have good critical thinking skills
