Responsibilities
You will develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies for validating connectivity performance of state-of-the-art WiFi systems
Working closely with design engineers and system integration/test engineers, you will define requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive system optimization
Your responsibilities will span from automation framework development to hands-on lab testing, ensuring thorough validation of PHY/MAC functionality while maintaining robust test infrastructure for ongoing regression and continuous integration efforts
Qualification
Required
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be)
Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C#
Preferred
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
Hands-on experience testing and validating WiFi systems in laboratory environments
Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, with demonstrated ability to create robust, scalable test frameworks
Proficiency with RF test equipment, including signal analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and WiFi signaling testers. Experience with CMW500 or equivalent platforms is a plus
Familiarity with network analysis and debugging tools such as protocol analyzers, Wireshark, iperf, and similar utilities
Experience in configuring and controlling access points (APs) and understanding of AP-client interactions is a plus
