Responsibilities
Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for numerous investment entities, including: Budgeting, Payables, Receivables, Banking and cash management, Loan servicing, Property appraisals, Property insurance, Audits & Tax Returns
Coordinate client reporting
Monthly reporting of changes in cost and market value
Quarterly narrative updates
Provide annual confirmation responses to client auditors
Maintain accounting records for the co. and affiliated entities in accordance with GAAP
Work with the investment team to review and assess potential investments
Assist in the preparation for closing investments and the tracking of the post-closing performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, investment management, or professional services
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting structures
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting systems (Yardi, QuickBooks, or similar)
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects
Capable of and comfortable with direct client interaction
Preferred
CPA or progress toward certification
Background in real estate operations, investment analysis, or asset management financial reporting
Experience supporting annual audits and external financial reviews
