Responsibilities

Primary Contact for several teams – Office responsibilities are primarily assigned by sport. Responsibility includes managing all aspects of compliance for 3-6 sports, up to and including: Provide rules interpretations; process waivers and submit violations; produce and provide rules education; monitor initial and continuing eligibility; facilitate camps and clinics; assist with managing and monitoring NIL activity; etc
Communication - Coordinate and monitor external facing communication channels for Compliance Office
Teamworks Compliance+Recruiting Software – Staff liaison with Teamworks
Complimentary Admissions – Review and approve current and prospective student-athlete complimentary admission requests for assigned sports
CARA/RARA – Review and approve CARA logs
Time Management – Manage time management program
Telephone & Text Monitoring – Ensure telephone calls and text messages are compliant with NCAA rules
Personnel – Monitor and maintain personnel in accordance with NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations
Business Office – Staff liaison with Business Office and assist with Expense Report monitoring and approval
Office of Youth Protection - Staff liaison with Office of Youth Protection
Clery Act – Review travel documentation to ensure compliance with Clery Act
Books – Oversee book disbursement and reimbursement process
Student Assistance Fund – Manage the Student Assistance Fund (including international taxes, health insurance, etc.)
Drug Testing – Provide necessary information for drug testing program
Merchandise Requests – Oversee donation requests from a compliance perspective

Required

Bachelor's degree. 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
At least two years of relevant experience
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Knowledge of procedures to monitor and enforce rules and regulations
Ability and desire to perform accurate, detail-oriented work, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and sound judgments
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Preferred

Juris Doctor or Relevant Master's Degree
