Responsibilities
Design cost-efficient structural systems in compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and client requirements
Design buildings, equipment foundations, and process support structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
Perform structural assessments of existing facilities, coordinate with architectural, MEP, and OEM teams, conduct site inspections during construction, and support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Prepare technical reports
Manage and collaborate with designers and junior engineers
Coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors on design-build and design-bid projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
High level of self-motivation, discipline, and technical expertise
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience in Structural Engineering
Industrial and manufacturing background necessary - not residential
The candidate either already holds a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or is eligible and able to obtain licensure
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
High level of self-motivation, discipline, and technical expertise
Preferred
B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering degree not required with RELEVANT experience
