Human Resources Specialist
Accela Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and people-first Human Resources Specialist to join their team at their Somerton skilled nursing facility. The role involves supporting employees through the full HR lifecycle, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
Serve as the on-site HR resource for employees and leadership
Support recruitment efforts including onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork
Maintain personnel files and ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
Assist with employee relations matters, including coaching, documentation, and investigations
Administer benefits, leaves of absence, and employee status changes
Track and support performance management processes
Partner with leadership to foster employee engagement and a strong workplace culture
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and healthcare regulations
Assist with audits, reports, and HR projects as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in Human Resources (healthcare or long-term care strongly preferred)
Working knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and onboarding processes
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Excellent communication skills—approachable, clear, and confident
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
