Responsibilities

Perform skilled repairs of city buildings, including plumbing, electrical wiring, drywall, and roofing
Safely operate medium to heavy-duty machinery
Execute traffic control and flagging duties; conduct daily inspections of electrical equipment to ensure operational safety
Manage materials, track project timelines, ensure equipment safety and proper tool usage

Required

High School Diploma or GED
Moderate experience in building construction, maintenance, or a related field
A Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Tanker Endorsement is strictly required at the time of hire
Proficiency in using specialized hand tools and the ability to maintain accurate digital records and work orders
Knowledge of construction safety is required
