Work on a project aligned to your chemical engineering background and Shell’s business needs
Apply scientific and engineering principles to tackle real technical challenges
Conduct analysis, propose solutions, and contribute to team decision-making

Participate in mid-term and end-of-internship evaluations
Present your project outcomes to technical leaders at Shell

Required

Major: Chemical Engineering
Education Level: PhD student
Anticipated Graduation: December 2027 – May 2029
Actively enrolled with at least one semester remaining after the internship
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.20
Must have valid U.S. work authorization (U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or temporary resident)
Some PhD/Master's disciplines may be eligible for sponsorship

Preferred

Knowledge of fluid/solid phase behavior, rheology, or surface chemistry
Hands-on experience with multiphase flow modeling
