Responsibilities

Responsible for the flow of information in and out of the Control Desk area, to include communication by phone and intercom intra and inter departmentally, message handling, use of the ORSOS computer system for data retrieval and scheduling, maintaining statistics, and patient check in
Work as a team member in the management of surgical cases
Handle varied and highly stressful work situations requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask

Qualification

Preferred

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Minimum two (2) years secretarial experience in a hospital environment, OR preferred
