Human Resources Coordinator (Temporary)
Cotiviti is seeking a temporary Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR team during a leave of absence. The role involves coordinating the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and providing administrative support to the HR team.

Responsibilities
Coordinate onboarding process for new employees, including reviewing background and reference checks, supporting hiring managers, communicating directly with new hires, and ensuring timely completion of onboarding paperwork
Assist with tracking and follow-up on required employee documentation
Ensure timely completion of Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements for all onsite and remote employees in compliance with federal regulations and company policy
Accurately and timely enter new hires into the HRIS system and ensure all required data fields are completed in accordance with company policy
Create separation documents, acknowledging resignations, and answer termination inquiries as needed
Evaluate special state pay requirements and coordinate with the HRBP and Payroll accordingly
Coordinate exit interviews with the respective HRBP and HRG partners
Submit terminations in relevant HR and IT systems in a timely manner
Support IT by providing termination and address information for the recoupment of equipment
Respond to basic HR inquiries and route questions to appropriate HR team members as needed
Organize and audit employee personnel files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Provide general administrative support to the HR team as assigned
Participate in special projects as needed
Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan
Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent experience; 4 year degree preferred with HR focus
Minimum of 1 years of experience working in the HR field
Developing knowledge of federal and multi-state US law
Exceptional client service skills; service orientation
Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information
Able to prioritize and multi-task, demonstrates flexibility and acceptability
Extreme attention to detail
Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong presentation skills
Developing analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to proactively solve problem-solve and escalate issues
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Communicating with others to exchange information with all levels of employees
Completing tasks independently
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Making timely decisions in the context of a workflow
Remembering and adhering to processes and protocols in a timely manner
Ensuring the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
Pulling and interpreting data
Maintaining focus
Preferred
PHR/SHRM-CP certification or pursuit preferred
Experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); UKG Pro and iCims preferred
