Responsibilities
Analyze business processes, workflows, and data to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
Gather, document, and validate business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders
Develop clear, well-structured documentation such as process flows, business requirements, and operational guidelines
Conduct research and ongoing monitoring to support data accuracy and operational effectiveness
Translate business needs into actionable recommendations supported by data and analysis
Present findings, documentation, and recommendations to leadership and project stakeholders
Support implementation of new or improved processes, including change documentation and communication
Build strong working relationships across functional teams to understand business needs and solve complex problems
Manage multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously while meeting established deadlines and quality standards
Qualification
Required
4-6 years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, or data analysis
Prior experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
Experience with healthcare claims, provider data, benefits configuration, or reimbursement methodologies
Proven experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Familiarity with managed care environments, Medicaid/Medicare operations, or healthcare data systems
Experience supporting projects with strong technology or data component
Bachelor's degree
