Responsibilities

Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers
Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements
Works with customers and management to obtain approval
Identifies and manages changes to statement of work and assesses the impact of those changes and incorporates changes into statement of work
Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project
Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI
Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management
Communicate with internal and external customers, both written and in person via presentations, TIMS, PDRs, CDRs and final reports
Prepare documents such as Monthly status reports, TIM presentations, PDR & CDR reviews
Collaborate with fellow technical teammates on technical approaches inline to contractual CDRLs and provide EVM status if needed. Monitor project budgets and lead programs to successful outcomes
Collaborate with customers
Engage in all aspects of program planning

Required

Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
1+ years of Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
5+ years of experience in product development
5+ years of experience in program management, project management, engineering, and/or training services
3+ years using Excel to perform data analysis
3+ years editing PDF and Word files
Experience using agile methodology

Preferred

Experience working with Military or DoD customers strongly desired
Defense industry experience
Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
Understanding of business value related to features and functions
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
