Responsibilities
Review and verify all aspects of loan files including disclosures, credit, income, assets, and compliance documents
Input and manage files in our LOS system
Order appraisals, title work, and third-party documentation
Submit files to underwriting, manage conditions, and guide files through closing
Maintain clear, professional communication with borrowers, loan officers, and third parties
Ensure all documentation meets program and investor guidelines
Perform VOEs and credit refresh before closing
Keep up with timelines and documentation standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of mortgage loan processing or similar experience
Proficiency with Encompass or similar and familiarity with DU/DO and LP
Understanding of the VA loan processing process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stay organized while managing multiple files
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
