Responsibilities
Participate in daily Scrum standups to share progress and identify blockers
Spend approximately 80% of time on functional testing across various initiatives
Design, write, and execute functional test cases, including Gherkin scenarios
Validate test results, document defects, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues
Work closely with the team members to understand requirements and application behavior
Support testing across multiple small projects, releases, and integration initiatives
Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Ensure consistent test coverage across UI workflows and application interfaces
Test enhancements and integrations for their fraud prevention platform, which spans multiple underlying applications
Support major releases
Participate in projects aimed at transitioning underlying technologies while maintaining the current UI
Qualification
Required
3+ years of functional QA testing experience, with demonstrated confidence in manual/functional testing
Strong ability to design, document, and execute test plans and test cases
Experience testing UI-based applications and modern system interfaces
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative environment
Solid time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred
Exposure to automation concepts or frameworks; 1 year of hands‑on automation experience is acceptable
Familiarity with Cucumber
Writing Gherkin test scenarios quickly and accurately
Background in fraud prevention
