Human Resources Specialist
Responsibilities
Deliver new hire orientation and support training programs
Explain HR policies, benefits, and company programs to employees
Assist with designing and implementing unit‑specific HR initiatives and support enterprise‑wide programs
Maintain employee files, attendance records, bulletin boards, and HR trackers
Complete weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc HR reports accurately and on time
Support broader HR and organizational goals through assigned responsibilities
Qualification
Required
2–4 years in a human resources role
Strong understanding of state and federal employment laws
Experience in relationship building, business partnering, cross‑functional collaboration, talent acquisition, time management & prioritization, and managing multiple tasks independently
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Proven ability to investigate and respond to EEO/Title VII matters
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and HR database tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred
Experience in airline, transportation, hospitality, manufacturing, or food service is a plus
