Graduate/Professional Enrollment Counselor
Rivier University is a higher education institution seeking a Graduate/Professional Enrollment Counselor to enhance enrollment for assigned programs. Responsibilities
Work in a fast-paced environment and meet enrollment goals
Engage with prospective students via phone, in-person meetings, virtual meetings, emails, and networking events
Maintain strong conversion from inquiry to enrolled
Manage prospective students throughout enrollment from inquiry to enrolled advising on admission and enrollment requirements for specific programs
Represent the University both on-and off-campus within an assigned territory to prospective students, employers, college admissions counselors and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process
Provide excellent customer service to all prospective and admitted students
Review admissions applications, complete transfer credit review, and determine admission decision graduate, professional, and doctoral applicants
Plan and work collaboratively with admissions staff as well as other areas with the goal of maximizing the overall effectiveness of recruiting students
Monitor, understand and analyze recruitment-related data, reports and other quantitative information to identify progress and potential areas of focus or improvement at each stage of the admissions funnel from inquiry through enrollment
Support and maintain the mission and strategic goals of Rivier University as appropriate

Qualification
Required
1-2 years of experience in higher education admissions, sales or equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree required
Proficient in the use of MS Excel and similar software analysis tools to be able to manipulate data sets and quickly analyze enrollment trends and opportunities
Familiarity with student computer information systems and an understanding that the role of technology in recruitment and operations is a major key to success
An ability and aptitude to work independently and responsibly using strong decision-making ability and the skill to prioritize competing opportunities and needs in a busy environment
Valid US driver's license is required
Ability to work independently as well as in groups and prioritize work to best achieve goals
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to adhere to university policies and procedures
Ability to work effectively and build positive working relationships with students, colleagues, administrators, and business constituencies of all levels
Strong interpersonal and writing skills are necessary, including public speaking skills and the ability to present the University in a positive way to diverse populations
